The Illinois Supreme Court was recently joined by a Pennsylvania Superior Court in holding that class action bans in consumer contracts of adhesion are void as unconscionable. See Thibodeaux v. Comcast, 912 A.2d 874 (Pa. Super. 2006), and Kinkel v. Cingular Wireless, 857 N.E.2d 250 (Ill. 2006).
